“New Unit” explores the electric moment of transformation — when something dissolves only to re-form as something new. The glowing orbs and fluid gradients represent the formation of identity, the birth of a new whole from scattered parts. There’s both chaos and cohesion here, an undercurrent of creation energy that mirrors how we evolve through connection, rupture, and renewal.

Uisce Gorm (Blue Water)
This piece is an exploration of homesickness — that complex space where grief, longing, and the quiet thrill of newness coexist. The two flowing forms represent streams of water, ever-moving like the waterfall of tears shed for home. The salted water of the Irish Sea feels as though it runs through me, connecting my body to where I come from.
These are not stagnant tears, but living ones — full of motion, story, and purpose. Uisce Gorm captures one hue of the homesickness that shapes us, a reminder that even our ache for home can become part of who we are.

Tetrafem
Tetrafem is inspired by the rare genetic trait of tetrachromacy — the ability to perceive a wider spectrum of color than most. Often found in women, this heightened perception becomes a metaphor for intuition, complexity, and the layered ways in which we see and experience the world.
This piece celebrates the feminine gaze in its most elemental form — one that perceives nuance, depth, and emotion beyond the visible. Through its shifting tones and subtle contrasts, Tetrafem invites the viewer to step into that expanded palette, to see not just color, but feeling itself.
